Policies At Satya Bharti Schools
The Satya Bharti Schools are not mere centers of learning but are aimed at all-round holistic development of students. Their emotional and psychological growth of children is an integral part of the teaching-learning process. We are intended at creating a safe and sensitive environment of learning that supports the growth of each child, especially the girl students.
To further this objective, we have adopted special interventions as the Child Protection Policy and the Girl Child Policy in our schools that govern our engagement with children.

| | The Child Protection Policy |
The Child Protection Policy is aimed at preventing all forms of child abuse and ensuring that child safety measures are adopted and practiced by the staff, volunteers, representatives and service providers of Bharti Foundation.
The full policy document is in four parts and sets-out procedures and directions to be followed for protection of children from all forms of abuse.
 | The first part sets out the aim, purpose and scope of the child protection policy. | | The second section gives an insight into the Constitutional provisions that ensures protection of children and their rights. It defines and explains various signs of child abuse. The definitions and corresponding explanations are largely drawn from World Health Organization and from UK’s National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. | | Part three sets out the code of conduct guiding engagement of staff, volunteers and service providers with children in routine activities as well as in execution of specific assignments. | | The reporting and response mechanism has been detailed out in part four of the policy. | | Local hotels also earn money through the trainings of trainers, teachers etc. | | Students excursions involve local travel agencies earning business through such trips | | Local event organizers, decorators etc. earn from the events at the schools such as sports days, inaugurations, annual events, national events | | Local materials stationery, construction materials etc are also procured locally |
Regulatory bodies have been created in the form of Child Protection Committees at State and Head Office level with dedicated team members.
Staff members of Bharti Foundation are currently being oriented about this policy. This will now become a permanent feature of all orientation programs for new staff and an important clause in agreement with service providers and consultants. The Child Protection Policy will go a long way in creating a safe and sensitive schooling experience for children in our system and will also make them aware of their right of being protected.

| | Girl Child Policy |
The Girl Child Policy has been launched in the Satya Bharti Schools to encourage girl-child enrollment and prevent girl drop-outs. Its objective is to provide them a suitable and sensitive school environment to enhance participation and learning.
The Girl Child Policy at Bharti Foundation states the following:
| Girl children in our schools will always be encouraged to believe in themselves and express & follow their dreams for future. | | We will create special platforms for girl children - especially achievers - to be recognized in order to change the society's view about girl child. | | We will ensure that our schools are sensitive towards the special needs of girl children such as separate toilets etc and our schools are safe places for them. | | We will make sure that parents of girls in our schools are proud of them and will give them an equal opportunity to stand on their own feet when they grow up. | | Girls passing out of our schools will be role models and change agents in society. |
