| Innovative Curriculum |
The curriculum has been designed to provide children with opportunities to explore and learn about all facets of life. Teachers are trained to conduct engaging, child-centric activities which help students obtain an authentic understanding of concepts. Multi-media technology like computers and audio-visual aids has complemented textbook-based learning. Students are also engaged in outdoor activities, with more than 50 percent of classroom activities being held outdoors. The classrooms are also designed as child-friendly spaces filled with innovative teaching and learning materials and colourful charts and displays to stimulate a child’s mind and inculcate love for learning.

| Remedial Learning Program |
A baseline study of the children enrolled in our schools indicated that most of them did not meet the desired threshold learning levels. With this information and the background that most of these children are first generation learners and do not have any academic support at home, we introduced the Remedial Learning Program (RLP) in August 2008. It was launched to ensure that all children acquire and display linguistic and mathematical skills appropriate to their age and class.

At the beginning of the Remedial Learning Program all the students were below 40% of their threshold learning levels.
The first phase of the Remedial Learning Program was conducted from September - December 2008. The impact of the program was there for all to see.

While more than 80% students were categorized in the < 40% level before the program, a mere 5% students remained in the <40% category post the implementation of the program |

36% students were in the 40%-70% category while 59% students shifted to the > 70% category |

Students fared the best in Math, across all levels and states |
 |
Students have gained basic clarity in concepts according to expected targets and are able to apply their understanding to subjects better than before. |
