| | Honouring Those Who Matter | Bharti Foundation recently held two events honouring all those who have come forward and supported the Bharti Foundation and the Satya Bharti School Program.
The Partner Conclave Date: July 16, 2010 Venue: The Bharti Crescent, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi
The Bharti Foundation Partner Conclave was held to honour and thank all those companies and individuals who had supported the Bharti Foundation’s Satya Bharti School Program through their contributions. This included partners who had provided financial support, materials for the Satya Bharti School Program, technical expertise for implementation of the program and also individual donors. Mr. Vijay Chadda, CEO, Bharti Foundation and Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice- Chairman and Managing Director, Bharti Enterprises and Co-Chairman, Bharti Foundation also attended the event and spoke about how this journey of the Satya Bharti School Program was made possible by the overwhelming support we have received. Some Satya Bharti School students also performed at the event, showcasing what they were being taught at the schools. Some of the companies who were present at the event included Western Union, Duraline, Monsanto India, Celebrum Spice, DLF etc.

The Changemakers Awards encompassed both the ACT Ambassador Awards and the Bharti Corporate Responsibility Awards for 2009-10. The awards were held to identify and felicitate all those individuals and Bharti Group Companies who were going beyond their business mandate to support the initiatives of Bharti Foundation.
The ACT Ambassador Awards 2010 recognized all those employees across the Bharti Group who helped steer the ACT Program- an Employee Philanthropy Program in their respective Group Companies. The ACT Program, launched in 2006 by Bharti Foundation, encourages employees across the Bharti Group to associate themselves with a social cause they believe in and inculcate in them a sense of giving. Thus the ACT Ambassador awards honoured various people who undertook initiatives like introducing innovative campaigns for larger donations, encouraging employee participation etc. The winners of the ACT Ambassador Awards were as follows:
