| Satya Bharti Primary School Program | Bharti Foundation initiated its flagship Satya Bharti School Program in 2006 with the establishment of seven Satya Bharti Primary Schools in Punjab. This formed the first step towards ensuring ‘quality education’ to underprivileged children in the rural pockets of India, with special focus on the girl child and the empowerment of marginalized communities. The goal of the Satya Bharti Primary Schools is to build a robust academic foundation for child education in India.
Through our primary schools, we aim to build a firm educational base for our students thereby contributing significantly towards holistic development of each child. The intent is to inculcate in children a desire for academic exploration and to construct ideas and thoughts that will facilitate their growth towards academic excellence.
The Satya Bharti Primary Schools, set up in the rural pockets of India liberate education from the confines of four walls and make it a process of self-exploration for children. Our teachers make the students aware of their surroundings and help them learn to interact from an early age by introducing age-appropriate learning methodologies.
At present, Bharti Foundation operates 233 Satya Bharti Primary Schools (out of a total of 250 operational schools) in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The program envisions 500 primary schools reaching out to rural underprivileged children with our ‘quality education’ intent. | |
