With focus on providing external platforms to our students for their holistic development, a ‘Friendship Cricket Match’ was organized by Satya Bharti School, Bhojpur, Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh) on 11th February, 2015 with school and community members as spectators. All participants were awarded merit certificates and special gifts were bestowed to the members of the winning team.
Inspired by the 20:20 series of Indian match series, this match was a 10:10 between the Government Primary School, Kasrak and Satya Bharti School, Bhojpur. Satya Bharti School won the toss and the team chose to bat in the first innings. Praveen Gangwar made a half century, and a total score of 92 runs on four wickets was achieved by our school. The Government School team scored 52 runs with a loss of seven wickets and unfortunately lost the match. Praveen Gangwar, Satya Bharti School student, was declared Man of the Match and Room Singh, student of Government School, was announced to be the Special Player of the Match. Both these students were awarded cash prize
